On September 1, 2006 Piedmont Men of Steel was launched by faith in Burlington, NC. After months of prayer and seeking God's direction about the timing and mindset of this international, "faith missions," men's discipleship ministry, Rev Woody Lamm, the director, and Rev. Ron Harris, the founder and director of Greater Love World Outreach, under which Piedmont Men of Steel is an "umbrella ministry,' began this new faith venture.

Piedmont Men of Steel is committed to: Engaging men with persons of Jesus Christ; Romans 10: 9-13, Acts 4:12, 1 Cor. 1:18-25
Equipping them through His biblical teaching; Romans 12:1-2, Matt. 28: 18-20, 2 Tim, 2:2
Empowering them toward the goal of becoming "perfect in Christ"; Col. 1:28-29, Prov. 27:17, Eph. 4:12-13
Our purpose is to glorify God (Psalms 115:1) in all we do through this ministry. We seek to accomplish that as we reach out through discipleship to needful adult men with the claims and person of Christ, along with giving practical teaching, counseling, help and assistance. We will also seek to serve the body of Christ with our "partnership in the Gospel" throughout all of Alamance County and the Piedmont region of NC.
