Shepherd’s Heart serves with the heart of Jesus, who fulfilled Isaiah 61:1-3
“To bring good news to the afflicted; … to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners: to proclaim the favorable year of the LORD and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, to grant those who mourn in Zion, giving them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified”
Lissa Smith
The Lord called Lissa and her husband Jeremy to Israel 15 years ago. There they began Shepherd's Heart, ministering God's love to hurting and broken people, as well as raising their 6 children. They also serve with Ebenezer Operation Exodus, a Christian ministry helping the Jewish people return to Israel. They have seen God's faithfulness in amazing ways. Previously, Lissa served in campus ministry in the US, as a pastoral worker in London and as a teacher and counselor in the north of England before moving to Israel. Her teaching combines testimonies of God's wonderful works with an enthusiasm for His Word. She loves to inspire people to trust God and follow Him with all their heart.
